BOFFO/Michael Bastian
The design
draws inspiration from the paintings of
Andrew Wyeth, in particular the use of
perspective and point of view to tell a
story and create intrigue - where you
stand matters. The context of many
of his paintings is also important: the
light, and the New England Gothic
architecture which is enriched through
weathering, use, and decay. They
start out as perfectly detailed and
constructed structures that as they age,
become less perfect. If you stand in the
right place, you can see the light start to
filter in through the cracks.
